The Team

Our product development team is small but skilled, so every task matters. The team is experienced and helpful, always ready to lend a hand. We encourage asking questions and sharing what you know.

We plan our product development in group sessions, during which the whole team can easily talk to product managers and work closely together.

We can offer a remote and hybrid format for Cyprus based team members.

What You Will Be Doing

• Backend Automation Framework Development: Build and maintain automation frameworks using Pytest to cover functional, integration, and regression testing of backend services.
• API and Backend Test Automation & Manual Testing: Automate and manually test APIs and backend systems using tools like Postman, DBeaver, and Pytest for automation.
• Test Documentation & Reporting: Use Allure for detailed reporting of automated and manual test results, ensuring clarity and transparency in test execution.
• Continuous Integration & Deployment: Implement automated testing in CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery, ensuring smooth backend updates and regional expansions.
• Integration Testing: Ensure thorough integration testing between microservices and third-party systems, with a focus on backend stability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the backend developers, security engineers, and product teams to define backend testing strategies, improving overall product quality.
• Performance and Load Testing: Contribute to automating backend performance and load tests, ensuring the platform can scale with demand.

Your Expertise

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in automation and manual testing for backend systems and integrations.
• Backend Testing Skills: Proficient in backend testing methodologies, including API testing, integration testing, and database validation.
• Automation Skills: Strong experience with Pytest for automation and using Allure for reporting.
• CI/CD: Experience with integrating backend automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changes while managing priorities effectively.
• Small Team Experience: Proven experience working in a small team, taking full responsibility for testing functions, including setting your own tasks and managing priorities.
• Ownership & Accountability: Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to seeing tasks through to completion, with the ability to integrate into the team and understand your role within the broader structure.
• Attention to Detail: Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on backend systems.
• Languages: English (B2 or above), Russian (C1 or above).

Nice to Have

• Experience in testing microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with the game development industry.
