Game Mathematician
We are looking for a Game Mathematician to take ownership of the mathematical modeling and certification readiness of the games we distribute — with a strong focus on RTP validation, RNG analysis, and ensuring full compliance with regulated market requirements.
Apply Today and Benefit From:
Real product ownership — You’ll work on both new and existing games, taking full responsibility for their mathematical soundness and performance.
Meaningful collaboration — You’ll work closely with product teams and business stakeholders, suggesting optimizations and balancing games to meet both player expectations and revenue goals.
Deep analytical work — Ideal for someone who enjoys simulations, statistics, and detecting subtle inconsistencies.
Remote & flexible — Work from anywhere, on your own schedule, with a smart and supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform advanced mathematical calculations related to risk management and gaming product integrity.
- Calculate key metrics for new and existing games, including probability, volatility, payouts, and Return to Player (RTP).
- Model gameplay scenarios and simulate game behavior to validate theoretical RTP values.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation focused on the mathematical and statistical aspects of each game.
- Design and implement mathematical models to support specific product concepts and target metrics.
- Conduct pre-launch testing of games to verify payout accuracy and RTP performance.
- Perform in-depth statistical analysis of Random Number Generators (RNGs) and gaming equipment to ensure fairness and compliance.
- Continuously review and enhance statistical tests to better detect anomalies and outliers in game behavior.
- Assess product risk exposure and recommend appropriate betting limits based on business requirements or target risk levels.
Your Expertise:
- Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in data-heavy roles; 1+ years working with mathematical modeling (ideally in iGaming or financial/statistical domains).
- Strong knowledge of probability theory and applied statistics.
- Hands-on experience with C-like languages (preferably C#); knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or VBA is a strong plus.
- Strong written communication — especially for documentation and certification processes.
- English (B2+) required for documentation and cross-team collaboration; Russian (B2+) preferred for internal communication.
EXTRAS
- Competitive salary.
- Flexible hours.
- 4 extra personal days off per year.
- Training, workshops, and opportunities to attend international conferences.
