Notix.Games is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale our internal operations, people strategy, and support functions as the company continues its growth in the gaming and gamedev space.
In this role, you will be responsible for building strong, scalable operational and HR systems, ensuring compliance in a regulated environment, and enabling the company to grow sustainably across teams, functions, and jurisdictions. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and has a direct impact on business performance, organizational health, and long-term scalability.

What You’ll Be Doing
People & HR Strategy
- Define and execute the company’s HR and people strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning.
- Ensure strong alignment between company culture, values, and people operations during growth and change.
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on organizational effectiveness and performance optimization.
Talent Acquisition & Retention
- Oversee recruitment strategy and hiring processes for current and future business needs.
- Build and strengthen the employer brand in collaboration with leadership and recruitment teams.
- Improve quality of hire, onboarding effectiveness, and long-term retention.
- Analyze attrition and engagement data, addressing root causes proactively.
Employee Lifecycle & Engagement
- Ensure a structured and positive employee journey: onboarding, probation, development, and offboarding.
- Drive performance ramp-up, feedback cycles, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Partner with managers on employee relations, development plans, and performance challenges.
Operations & Process Excellence
- Audit, design, and optimize HR and operational processes to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Standardize workflows, introduce automation, and define clear KPIs.
- Build a data-driven approach to operations and people decisions through dashboards and analytics.
Compliance, Risk & Intercompany Coordination
- Ensure compliance with employment law, regulatory requirements, and client standards.
- Align internal policies and procedures with group-level and intercompany frameworks.
- Identify and mitigate operational and legal risks in cooperation with legal and compliance teams.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
Office & Administrative Operations
- Oversee office management and administrative functions, ensuring a productive and compliant work environment.
- Manage vendors, contractors, budgets, and operational logistics.
Your Expertise
Education & Certifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional certification required: SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, or CIPD.
Experience
- 5–8+ years in senior HR and/or operational leadership roles.
- Proven experience scaling teams and processes in fast-growing or multi-entity companies.
- Strong background in organizational design, workforce planning, and process optimization.
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
- Track record of partnering with executive leadership and leading cross-functional teams.
